Gotthilf Riexinger on ‘A Modern Horse Event’
Stuttgart organiser and 5* judge, Gotthilf Riexinger will be speaking about ‘Creating a Modern Horse Event with different disciplines.’ He aims to help other organisers in creating a successful and attractive event.
Riexinger was the show director of the world-class Stuttgart German Masters for 32 years. In 1985 Riexinger joined the CSI/CDI Stuttgart organising committee and under his direction transformed the event into one of the most celebrated indoor equestrian shows in the world.
Riexinger has also been actively involved in German equestrian sport for over forty years. He is an international dressage judge and was, for instance, a member of the ground jury at the 2008 Olympics in Hong Kong. He has served on the German and FEI Dressage Committee and has always been very outspoken about his ideas and opinions.
In 2015 Riexinger became a recipient of the German Rider’s Gold Cross, the highest accolade awarded by the German Equestrian Federation to distinguished equestrian figures.
Riexinger’s presentation at the FEI Regional Dressage Forum will take place on Wednesday 26th February.
