New Program Additions in 2025
The Ringers Western Gold Buckle Campdraft Championship just got even bigger! In 2025, we’re introducing two thrilling new finals and an exciting new event, adding even more action to an already stacked competition lineup.
New additions include:
Maiden Shootout – The top 15 from Open Round 1 and Open Round 2 will advance to a high-intensity Clean Slate Final.
Novice Shootout – The top 15 from Open Round 1 and Open Round 2 will battle it out in another Clean Slate Final.
Restricted Open – A brand-new division for Open Horses Only.
These new events join a lineup that already includes Junior & Juvenile Drafts, the Teams Draft, the Cut-Out Competition, and the Ladies Dash for Cash. And of course, at the heart of it all is the prestigious Gold Buckle Championship, where riders will compete for the $100,000 grand prize!
Ticket Pricing & Inclusions
Wednesday 14 May & Thursday 15 May; Free entry for all spectators, including adults and children.
Friday 16 May: General Admission: $20 for adults (16+ years), free for children under 16. Includes access to all campdrafting events and entertainment.
Saturday 17 May – Super Saturday: General Admission: $25 for adults (16+ years), $15 for children (5 -15 years). Includes access to all entertainment. Grandstand seating options available for premium viewing.
Grandstand Seating Options – Saturday Only. For the best views of the action, spectators can purchase reserved seats in one of two premium grandstands; Ringers Western Grandstand – Overlooking The Camp or Willinga Park Grandstand – Positioned for an elevated view of the arena. Entertainment | Saturday Evening
The excitement doesn’t end when the competition wraps up. Saturday night will bring an unforgettable live music lineup, featuring some of Australia’s best country talent. Christie Lamb will take the stage with her powerhouse vocals and high-energy performance before Robbie Mortimer closes out the night with his signature country rock sound.
With chart-topping hits, a growing national following, and a reputation for electrifying performances, Robbie has shared the stage with icons like The Beach Boys and The Temptations. Fresh off a sold-out show and a nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, he’s set to deliver a show-stopping performance.
All Saturday tickets include access to both the campdraft and this incredible night of live entertainment.
