What to Do on a 2 to 3 Day Stay
Autumn is one of the best times to stay at Willinga Park. The air feels fresh, the light softens and the days still have enough warmth to make the heated pool tempting in the afternoon. It is the kind of season that suits a slower pace, a proper walk before breakfast and an evening that naturally turns into a BBQ dinner and a quiet night in.
A Pavilion stay is designed for exactly that. You can keep plans simple, do one good outing outside the gates if you feel like it, and let the rest happen on site through the gardens, sculpture spaces, guest amenity area, and your own Pavilion with the comforts that make a short break feel effortless.
If you are choosing between Pavilion options, it is easy to match the stay to your group. Two Bedroom Pavilions suit couples, families and friends who want space and flexibility. The Four Bedroom Pavilion is ideal for larger groups who want to stay together with room to spread out, without anyone feeling on top of each other.

The itinerary
This plan works whether you are here for a long weekend or stretching it to three nights.
Day 1 Arrive and do the arrival loop
The best way to start a Willinga Park stay is not by rushing into a full itinerary. Arrive, settle into the Pavilion and let the pace shift naturally. This is the moment to put the bags down, make a cup of tea or pour a glass of something, and take in the feeling of space around you.
A first wander is always worth it. Not a long walk or a planned activity, just enough time to get your bearings and enjoy those first impressions of the property. The open grounds, the calm, and the sense of stepping away from everyday life all start to land properly once you have had a chance to breathe it in.
As the afternoon rolls on, keep things easy. Spend some time by the heated pool, read for a while, or simply enjoy the Pavilion without feeling like you need to be anywhere else. If you feel like heading out, dinner in nearby Milton or Mollymook is an easy option. If not, stay in and keep the evening simple. The point of the first day is to arrive gently and let the weekend begin well.

Day 2 Make it a Willinga Park day
This is the day to slow right down and settle into the rhythm of the property. Start with breakfast in the Pavilion, then spend the morning exploring one of the things that makes Willinga Park feel truly distinctive.
What sets Willinga Park apart is that the experience extends far beyond the accommodation, with botanic gardens and large scale sculptures woven throughout the landscape. A simple walk becomes something much more memorable, as you wander through the grounds discovering striking works such as Aeolus’ Sister, Surfers, Wanderers, Morpheus and the unforgettable Breaching Whale. It is this layering of art, gardens and open space that gives a stay here its own sense of place.
After a longer wander through the gardens and sculpture spaces, head back to the Pavilion for a quiet reset in the middle of the day. Then ease into the afternoon with time by the heated pool, a book in hand, a swim, or another stroll if you feel like heading back out.
If you are staying with a group, this is the kind of day that works for everyone. Some might start with a gym session, some will happily take their time exploring the grounds, and some will do very little at all. That is part of the beauty of it. The experience is already here on the property, so there is no need to rush or overplan.
Dinner can be another BBQ or a simple meal back at the Pavilion if you feel like cooking. The point of the day is not the schedule. It is the feeling of having nowhere else you need to be.

Day 3 Choose one outing outside the gates
Pick one great outing and do it properly, then come back and pack calmly. Do not try to do all of them. The most satisfying day is usually the one that is not overloaded.
Option one Pebbly Beach in Murramarang National Park
This is a classic South Coast outing and it is well known for kangaroos near the picnic area. It is an easy way to get that proper coastline moment into a short stay.
Option two Depot Beach Rainforest Walk
Perfect for autumn because you get the contrast of coastal air and green canopy in one outing. It is a great choice when you want something that feels different from a straight beach walk.
Option three North Beach Bawley Point
The simple option. Go for a walk, take a few photos, breathe, and head back.
If you are only staying 2 days and 1 night, keep it even simpler. Do Day 1 and a slow Day 2 morning, then save the outing for next time.
If autumn weather changes the plan
Autumn can be changeable, and that is exactly why a Pavilion stay works. If the weather turns, keep the day on site. Gym, heated pool, a long breakfast in the Pavilion, then a garden wander when the sky clears. You still get a great stay without needing perfect conditions.
Book online and keep the rest flexible
The best autumn stays at Willinga Park do not rely on a packed schedule. Choose your Pavilion, plan one good outing if you feel like it, and let the rest unfold on site.
