Sculpture Trail with Michael Snape

Michael Snape is an acclaimed Australian sculptor whose work explores the connections between people, movement and space. Using laser-cut steel that he reshapes by hand, his sculptures transform solid material into flowing, human-centred forms that invite reflection and interaction.

Michael will lead two guided walking tours on Saturday 25 October, offering guests a rare opportunity to see the collection through an artist’s eye. His own work, Sphere, part of the Willinga Park sculpture collection captures his signature approach, balancing strength and openness in dialogue with the surrounding landscape.

Through conversation and observation, Michael will share how art, form and place intersect, deepening the experience of sculpture in the natural setting that defines Willinga Park.
