Endurance at Willinga Park

06 December 2017

The South Coast Zone Endurance Association and 50 riders converged on Willinga for a training day.

The day involved a series of educational workshops, followed by a ride of 10km, 20km or 40km. The event was aimed at those new or interested in getting started in endurance. It was a fantastic opportunity to support newcomers through an endurance weekend, while they gained an understanding of the rules and processes involved. Despite recent rain, the tracks all held up well. Riders were even treated to ocean views at the top of the escarpment. We’d like to acknowledge National Parks who worked closely with the South Coast Zone and Willinga Park to deliver a ride filled with beautiful South Coast scenery. Also thanks to the hardworking volunteers, vets, officials and venue staff who helped to deliver a safe, and enjoyable event. Ride photos credited to Jo Arblaster of Animal Focus.
